From nightclubs to book clubs
With the growing expat community there are more organised social and sports activities than you will find in most places in England. You can join in any of them or just go along to watch.
You can join in groups and clubs for writing, books, crafts, karate, amateur dramatics or bridge and take part in social activities like quiz nights, bingo sessions and treasure hunts.
Orba also has its own nightclub/restaurant, La Palmera and there’s a livelier nightlife with choice of clubs and discos a short drive away in Dénia. If you really want to party then wild Benidorm is easy to get to.
Games for all
Whatever your fitness, there is a sport here for you to try. Have a go at horse riding, lawn bowls, short mat bowls, walking, tennis, sailing quad bikes, hiking, climbing or golf and more.
There are at least three golf courses in easy reach of Orba. The one at Oliva, half an hour’s drive away, was designed by Seve Ballesteros and has wonderful facilities including a swimming pool and gym.
